What inspired you to become a Realtor?
I moved to Nashville and bought my first home in 2011. I had an amazing realtor, Ashley Dugger, and about one year after buying a home from her; she had a position available as a team manager for her real estate team. I was so grateful for the opportunity and loved the real estate world. I love the challenge, the changing market, meeting new people, and helping our clients feel so comfortable about making such a great purchase- their home. I got my real estate license in 2016 and started working with Invent Communities.
What is your greatest priority when working with clients?
My greatest priority is education and communication. I want the buyer or seller to feel informed about the process and feel comfortable with the decision they are making. Buying or selling a home is an important decision and I truly understand that. I want them to feel like I am here for them throughout the process and hopefully beyond this step.
When you’re not wearing the Realtor hat, what are you typically up to around town?
I spend a lot of time at Shelby Park – either running or playing with my daughter Averee. I run with the East Nasty running group on Wednesday nights. I’m really in love with the selection of great coffee shops in Nashville and enjoy working/hanging out there.
What is something unique about you, that your Clients may not know? ex: special talent, unique hobby, world travel, etc.
My favorite way to travel the US is through running. I enjoy signing up for races (previous marathons, but more recently 10k races) in cities I haven’t got to experience yet and learning the city through running its streets.
Nashville is a rapidly changing city, what is your favorite part of town to show & why?
I really love the East Nashville area- I know that is a popular answer right now; but it really fits my family. I love the local businesses; the walkability, the parks, the community feel.
When helping someone select their home, what is your favorite part of the process? ex: showings, the thrill of negotiating, handing over the keys, etc.
The best part of the process for me is when the clients have that gut feeling that this is the home for them. The excitement and the way the buyers start to visualize their furniture in the home and living their future in the home is my favorite part.
What does your dream house look like & where would it be located?
I’m extremely grateful to have found the perfect home for our family. We just built a new construction home last year with Building Masters in East Nashville. We can walk to Shelby Park, friends come to visit us more often, and we have a screened in upper deck that we love to enjoy.
